Board Game Apocalypse

What happens when the lights go out for good and civilization gets kickstarted by a bunch of board game geeks? This!

One day I noticed there were no novels about board games. I don't mean IP spinoff novels, but there were no novels about games or gaming itself. So I tried to think of a possible world of living in board games. Well, there'd have to be no electricity. And people would be meeples. Add in a hero's journey and it call came together.

The Reformers vs The Prosperity Gospel

What if the Protestant Reformers visited modern times? What if they did it by crashing with a couple of normal Reformed guys? Then what if a prosperity preacher threatened the stability of the entire world?!

Several years ago I had this idea of making an Avengers movie trailer parody with Reformers battling Joel Osteen and such. I wrote out a script, but didn't feel like I could do it justice with my animation skills. Then, in the summer of 2015, I had the brainwave of making it into a book. A lot of the jokes transported right over, but much was changed because it's no longer just a parody. For example, in the trailer I was going to make one Reformer talk just like the Hulk, but in the book he talks normal. It's kinda wacky and you probably won't get all the jokes if you're not a little familiar with Reformed stuff, but it's all in good fun.

The Jackalope Saves the World

Jake Mitchell survives and airplane crash only to have a supernatural vision about gaining powers and saving the world. He returns to small town Douglas, Wyoming and has to decide the best way to use his powers.

I like to read superhero novels, so of course I get the idea to do one myself. I'm also a big fan of jackalope postcards, so naturally I turned there for inspiration. The idea that I wanted to explore was how would a normal guy with normal problems deal with getting powers. I know that sounds like Spiderman, but my superhero doesn't have access to a big city full of skyscrapers and supervillains. This was my first attempt at writing fiction since I was ten. I did it partly just to see if I could, and it took me two years!

Holy Road Trip! Christian Attractions for Family Vacations

Can't afford to make a pilgrimage across the ocean? Don't worry, there's plenty of museums, roadside oddities, and replicas in the U.S.A. for Christians to enjoy!

Roadtripping was one of my passions before having kids. I especially love weird roadside attractions, and even more especially Christian based ones. So I had an idea to do a book of my roadtripping wisdom, but then thought that focusing on Christian stuff would be way more interesting. So this is a list of the best 250 (or so) things to visit I could find, complete with all the necessary visitor info. It's more of a practical reference guide than anything else, but has plenty of interesting stuff to read through too.
